Bryan Dixon

Hi, I'm Bryan! I'm originally from Philadelphia, PA and served as an Engineer Officer in the US Army, moving from New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Missouri, Kansas, Washington State, Tennessee, and a few tours overseas. I graduated from Rutgers University in 2017 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and the University of Nebraska in 2022 with a Masters in Engineering Management. After about a decade of service, I wanted to pivot into something I was truly passionate about. I chose Ross because of its reputation within the sports industry and my love for Big Ten football. 

Breaking into the sporting industry is heavily reliant on the relationships you cultivate, and the advice I received from those already in the industry was to enter consulting to obtain strong business fundamentals. I recruited for consulting internships, as well as marketing and general management internships that were within the sports field or sports-adjacent. I landed an internship with DICK'S Sporting Goods in Pittsburgh, PA in their Executive Development Program (corporate strategy). 

I'm happy to chat about recruiting for consulting, marketing, and general management, transitioning to business school as a veteran and the Ann Arbor VA, and my experience at Ross. I also completed a short-term study abroad at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany and would love to discuss study abroad opportunities with anyone interested.
